Currently I treat photography as a hobby. I take random shots, family shots, or anything I feel like shooting. It’s a new and expensive hobby. I am very fortunate that I have a loving, caring and understanding wife that supports my hobby. This may change in the future, and I am hoping by my retirement age I’d have enough experience so that I can use my hobby as a source of income.
I primarily learn my skills mainly from a forum called POTN. I also pick up a lot of reading materials related to photo editing from Digg. I’m hoping that by setting up this photoblog, I will receive enough constructive criticism to further improve my skill.
